Meet Saturday! Saturday is a beautiful girl who has already been through so much in her young life. She was rescued from a kill shelter where she was so frightened that she even urinated when lifted to safety. Despite this heartbreaking start, Saturday has shown just how resilient and loving she can be. She can be shy at first, but once she feels safe she gently comes out of her shell. She has a calm, quiet nature and enjoys soft attention and the comfort of kind, patient company. Saturday is not a particularly playful dog and much prefers a peaceful environment where she can relax and feel secure. She would be happiest as an only dog, or possibly with a calm, well-balanced companion who will respect her space. Health Note: During routine blood tests, it was found that Saturday had a mild gallbladder issue with some mucus. She responded very well to medication, and the issue cleared up.
