Are you right for Shelly?Shelly is a sweet, 6 year old Collie. She is a nervous soul who is looking for a patient and understanding adult only home to help her settle into her new home and build confidence with the world. She will need a decent size, secure garden so she has a safe space to explore, toilet and play as she will need to settle into her home environment before exploring the wider world on walks. Shelly has socialised with other dogs at the centre but is underconfident and so is best suited as the only pet in the home. She would benefit from socialisation with a calm confident dog outside of the home to build confidence. Shelly requires a medical procedure which is better suited to home recovery so will be going home initially under our HomeTrial scheme while this is done and so we can cover the cost - our team can go through this with you in full detail if you are found to be a match.
