Stela

Last year in Smederevo, Serbia, a beautiful female pup was abandoned at the side of the road. She had very limited sight, and would not have survived for long. By incredible chance, a volunteer from a local shelter found her. Now healthy and living in the private shelter, this c. 11 month old, 12kg beauty has ‘a smile that never leaves her face’, and a name to match: ‘Stela’, (meaning, ‘Star’). Stela is a happy, playful girl who loves people and other animals. She is good with dogs and cats, and children. She won over the staff at the vets with her beautiful behaviour; in fact everyone who meets Stela is charmed by her gentle and affectionate nature. Stela’s vision has been examined by a veterinary ophthalmologist at a specialized eye clinic in Serbia. The examination confirmed that she has multiple congenital abnormalities affecting both eyes.
