Terry hasn’t had the easiest start. This lovely young terrier cross was originally found as a stray, and just when life seemed to be looking up, he suffered an unfortunate playtime accident which resulted in a break near his hip.He underwent a femoral head removal operation, which is a very common and successful procedure, and we’re delighted to say there have been no complications. The only lasting effect is that one of Terry’s back legs is slightly shorter than the other, something that certainly doesn’t stop him enjoying life.To help him regain the muscle he lost during his recovery, Terry has been attending weekly hydrotherapy sessions, funded by the rescue. He has already had his second session, and the progress has been nothing short of amazing. He’s already walking so much better, although he’s still a bit of a lazy lad and occasionally needs a little bribery to get moving!
