Wee Max

Max is a handsome Collie who is ready to start searching for his forever home. When Max first arrived at the sanctuary he was originally a stray and therefore was very wary of us all. He initially would be scared to approach staff and volunteers but through a lot of time and patience he has build confidence and come on leaps and bounds. He was even scared of having a collar and lead put on. Through time the staff worked with Max daily to help him build some positive associations to having a lead on and were able to then start taking him out for walks. He eventually grew even more confident allowing us to harness on him and happy to be walked by volunteers too. Max is a nervous boy and would love to find a patient owner who can help him as he learns to trust humans again. Max loves having a sniff about on his walks and has been known to seek out the sunniest spot in our field to lay down and sunbathe.
