Rescued in August from the House of Horror, Yarra’s story began in a place no living soul should ever have to endure. Yarra had been forced to live in a single, cramped, filthy room with more than 50 other dogs. So we already knew she was good with dogs. What we didn’t know was the extraordinary soul hiding beneath all that suffering. Yarra is incredibly intelligent. Gentle. Tender. Affectionate. And despite everything she has endured, she has never lost her ability to trust, to love, and to give her heart to people. Now, just weeks into her life at the Sanctuary, she makes us smile every single day. Melisa says she is one of the best dogs she has ever met.
