Having spent his early months on a farm, the hustle and bustle of the outside world like traffic, bikes and strangers are still all very new to him. He can be defensive when faced with things that scare him, so he’s looking for a calm, patient home where he’ll be supported through slow, positive exposure to the world around him.Albert could live with sensible children of 11+ who understand he’ll need space when he feels overwhelmed. He’ll need to be the only pet in the home, but he can enjoy social walks with doggy friends once he’s comfortable. Due to signs of separation anxiety, he’ll need someone around most of the time to help him settle and feel secure.Once Albert trusts you, his goofy side comes out, he’s a total clown who thinks he’s a lap dog! He’s also very food motivated, which will be a big help with ongoing training and building his confidence.
