He’s an adult Lurcher-type dog with very limited eyesight, and without intervention, his future was bleak. Team Poundie stepped in, settling him into safe, comfortable kennels — but it was clear straight away that Alfie needed a home, and quickly.A veterinary assessment confirms that Alfie is an adult dog, older than two years but not elderly.Thankfully, a wonderful foster family came forward, and Alfie is now enjoying life in a loving (though temporary) home. Once he realised that food was regular and reliable, he relaxed significantly — the counter-surfing stopped, and his gentle nature really shone through.Alfie behaves beautifully indoors.
