A big, beautiful boy with your whole life ahead of you — but so much of the world still scares you. Even the hoover can feel like something you need to escape from. And when Ash becomes frightened, he doesn't always know what to do with those feelings. He can go into panic mode, and because he is a strong 28kg boy, that fear can be incredibly difficult to manage. And when you're scared, the world can feel like a very big, confusing place. They walk him in quieter areas and gradually build towards busier streets. They sit on benches with him, allowing him to watch the world from a safe distance rather than forcing him into situations he isn't ready for.
