Astra

Astra is a 3.5 year old male lurcher. He is very kind natured and walks really well on the lead but as expected due to the breed has a very high prey drive. Astra is a lovely dog! Thanks for clicking on my profile. I have now been matched with a loving family and I’m looking forward to settling in at my new home. However, many of my friends still need adopting. Can you offer them the love and devotion they deserve? Astra was found as a stray and brought to us. He was then rehomed for 9 months but unfortunately was too lively out on walks for his owner. He has a wonderful temperament and is a really kind hearted dog. Astra walks well on the lead but can pull if he sees something he wants to chase like a bird, rabbit, cat or squirrel. Astra walks well with the other dogs here, but reportedly became reactive to them on walks when rehomed. We think this was likely due to frustration and over-excitement, so regular walking buddies would benefit him once he goes to his new home. Astra is a s...
