Bambi

This is a special appeal for a special boy. We are looking for a long term foster home.

Many of our supporters will recognise our boy, Bambi. He originally came to Foal in July 2020 at approximately a year old. He came to us from a pound, so we had no information about Bambi’s history. What we did know, was that this poor boy had not been loved and cared for. He was scared of us, underweight, had sore skin and, overall, he was in very poor condition.

With a little time and patience, Bambi soon made friends with the staff and volunteers here. It became apparent that Bambi had allergies, so with medication and a good diet his health improved. Bambi was rehomed in September 2020 but was unfortunately returned after a short while. We learnt from this homing that Bambi struggled with visitors and scenarios which took him by surprise such as opening a car door.
