Are you right for Barney?Barney needs a special family who are willing to work with him, and allow him time to settle without pushing him. It's essential that Barney lives in a quiet, child and pet free environment, preferably with few visitors, and has his own garden. He is under a training program at the centre that will need to be kept up in the home, and he will need multiple meets here before he goes home. Full support will be given by our Training and Behaviour Team, throughout all stages of Barney's adoption, and his adopters must be willing to work closely with the team. Although Barney will walk with dogs he's had a proper introduction to, he will need to be the only dog in the home. He is a super boy who just needs someone to commit to him, and make slow introductions to new people and places. Barney needs time to get to know his new family before he goes home, and will need multiple visits at the centre.
