Are you right for Bear?Bear is an absolutley handsome German Shepherd who has come to us through no fault of his own and is ready to find his happy ever after. Bear is looking for a home who are GSD savvy and comfortable and confident with large dogs. Although no mallice at all, due to Bear's size, any youngsters in the house would need to be 16+. Bear thinks he is a tiny dog and wants to sit on your lap! He also loves to cuddle on the sofa so a large sofa and being allowed to do so would be appreciated in his new home. Bear can get over excited at times and can jump up and be mouthy, we are working on him keeping 4 paws on the floor when he is excited, and on channelling his mouthy (gentle, but not ideal!) tendancies into appropriate channels with his toys. His new family will need to continue this training, as although he is just trying to show his affection, he is a very big dog and we do not encourage this, he has started to lay down and want a belly/chest scratch instead, which is...
