Benny

Benny is an incredibly loving 4.5 year old miniature dachshund looking for his forever home. His home-life is too busy and unsettled for him and his current family have made the difficult decision that he will be happier in a new home which can give him the quiet, relaxing environment he needs. Benny would thrive in a child-free, routine-based home where he is the only dog. Benny takes his guard-dog duties very seriously and his interactions with strangers need to be managed carefully. He has been known to snap or nip at visiting men in the home and needs a kind and patient owner who is prepared to work with him and our behaviourist to make him more comfortable with visitors in the home and passers-by on walks. Benny is toilet trained, in excellent health and travels well in the car. He loves to walk in a quiet, open area where he can sniff til his heart is content.
