Are you right for Bertie?Bertie is looking for his forever home with adopters who can help continue his training. He would like adopters who are willing to help him settle in and are open to having a dog that exhibits strong breed traits. He loves getting his nose to the ground! Bertie will need help with loose lead walking as he can forget that you're on the other end at times and would benefit from being able to run off in secure fields or being walked on a longer line. Bertie can go home with a well-matched dog, but it will need to be a dog that can handle his playstyle, as he can be a little full on, but he does also know when to take a break. He could go home with livestock if interactions are managed. Bertie is a very friendly boy, and can get quite excited when meeting people, so he will need to be rehomed with children 12+ who are confident with dogs jumping up.
