Betsy

Betsy is a beautiful one-year-old Shar Pei who arrived into our care through the RSPCA Inspectorate alongside her puppies. Sadly, Betsy has had a really difficult start in life and is now looking for a loving, understanding home where she can finally experience the care and kindness she deserves. Betsy is currently receiving treatment for her skin and eyes. She is also awaiting entropion surgery in November and may require eye drops for the rest of her life. Our team will be happy to discuss her medical needs in more detail with potential adopters. Understandably, Betsy is still quite a nervous girl who is learning that the world isn't such a scary place. Although she does enjoy a gentle fuss, she is still building her trust in people and prefers affection on her own terms. Her new family will need to be patient, understanding and happy to let Betsy approach them when she feels comfortable.
