Meet Blue. A very lucky boy looking for his second chance at life. If Blue could talk, he would tell a very heartbreaking tale. Blue came into a UK pound after being found ‘straying’, we suspect he was likely tied up somewhere and managed to get himself free. The very tight collar he was wearing when he arrived had a short piece of lead tied to it, which looks like it has either been cut or chewed away from the rest of the lead. As you can see from the photo, Blue has an injury on his nose, this was done prior to entering the pound. We have taken him to our vets who have prescribed antibiotics and painkillers. They suspect the injury is caused by a dog or human, all we know is Blue’s poor body is covered in tons of scars: under his chin, legs, neck and head. (The wound on his nose does look like a dog tooth puncture but without knowing the true story we can only assume). Despite all of this, Blue is showing himself to be a happy chap.
