Meet Bruno – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Fresh Start Bruno came into our care through no fault of his own after his owner sadly passed away. Following this, poor Bruno experienced a very distressing situation when he was removed from his home. He was at risk of being euthanised in police kennels, but thankfully we were able to step in just in time and give him the second chance he deserved. Understandably, Bruno arrived feeling nervous and unsure of the world. But with patience and kindness, he’s been growing in confidence every day. He’s formed lovely bonds with our staff, enjoys meeting new volunteers, and absolutely loves his gentle walks—plodding along, taking in the scenery, and having a good sniff. Once he gets to know you, Bruno shows his true nature: a sweet, affectionate boy who loves fuss and closeness. Despite his size, he walks beautifully on the lead—you sometimes forget he’s even there!
