Buddy

Meet our special lad Buddy. This handsome boy first came to Foal in June 2020, since then he has been in a couple of foster homes and he was in another home for nearly 18 months. He has always been a quirky boy and unfortunately has shown aggression which is why he has been returned.

Buddy is by no means an easy boy but he has been with us for so long now and we do feel that we understand him and know his triggers. Any adopters would need to undergo introductions for a long time to get to know him and follow our guidance.

It can take time to gain Buddy’s trust but he is a real character once you know him. He is playful, wants to please and enjoys training and he can be very affectionate.

Out and about Buddy can be reactive towards both people and dogs but he has come on leaps and bounds and responds to training well. He is an anxious boy so we are also working with him to feel better about his anxieties and gain more confidence. He even has a few doggy friends that he enjoys to walk...
