About MeHi, I’m Ace!I’m a typical Frenchie boy with a huge personality, plenty of sass, and lots of love to give. I love playing, learning new things, and will do almost anything for a tasty treat! Once I’ve made friends with someone, I’m incredibly affectionate and enjoy nothing more than being close to my people, whether we’re out having fun or curled up on the sofa for cuddles. I’m looking for a home that will embrace my cheeky Frenchie charm, continue my training, and give me the love and companionship I thrive on.I am currently in a one of St Francis lovely foster homes who have described me as the best boy they’ve ever had!________________________________________Home CompatibilityChildren: Older children (10 years +)Dogs: Only dog in the homeCats: No catsHome Alone TimeComfortable being left: Can currently be left for short periodsMaximum known duration: 2 hours________________________________________Training and BehaviourCar Travel: Travels well and enjoys going on adventuresRecall: No known off-lead experience. Like name, like nature! This handsome chap is Ace and he’s a 4 year old Frenchie, arriving with us due to no fault of his own. He’s quite a laid back chap – his priorities in life involve food, fuss and a good roll in the grass! He has been good with other dogs here at the centre, but generally prefers a quieter life so would prefer any canine companion to be happy for a little play, but more woah, than go! If you’re a Frenchie lover, then Ace is your perfect companion – why not come and meet

We are helping to find a home for Alfie who is a 4 year old Frenchie. Sadly his owner has become unwell and is not able to take care of him. Alfie is a really nice dog; he is very affectionate and loves lots of cuddles. He is good with children but not always with other dogs. Ideally he would be best suited to a quiet home as the only pet so he can get lots of fuss and attention. I'm Bailey I'm a 9-year-old French Bulldog from Thirsk rehoming centre and I'm looking for my forever homeI'm a 9-year-old French Bulldog from Thirsk rehoming centre and I'm looking for my forever home. Please read my profile below to find out more.Miss Bailey is a truly special lady with a heart full of love to give. She’s looking for a cosy retirement home where life moves at a gentler pace, with a comfy bed to curl up in and plenty of time for afternoon snoozes.Bailey enjoys her walks and equally loves quiet moments, whether that’s relaxing beside you or soaking up the comfort of being close to her people. She thrives on company and is happiest when she’s not left for long, so she’s hoping for a home where someone is around to keep her company. She could possibly share her home with another dog who matches her slow and steady way of life however she isn’t keen on sharing her space with cats, but she could live with older children who understand she may need a little time to settle in.Sweet, affectionate and wonderfully cosy, Miss Bailey is ready to spend her golden years by your side.Flat faced (brachycephalic) dogs suffer from additional health problems, which may impact their quality of life. We always recommend anyone thinking about adopting or buying a flat faced (brachycephalic) dog to thoroughly research the breed beforehand. Our expert team will be able to give you tips on exercise and weight management and advice on any support Bailey may need.

Bella, a 3 years old female Belgian Malinois x French Bulldog available for adoption from Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home in Scotland

Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home

Bella

Scotland
SexFemale
Age3 years
BreedBelgian Malinois x French Bulldog

Bella is looking for an experienced owner who have plenty of time to help her settle into her new home. She will need to have company all day with someone who can help teach her that it is okay being left. Bella would like to be the only pet though may be able to live with high school aged children. Bella is a real sweetheart of a girl who is snuggly and an extremely loving, loyal companion. She adores human contact and just wants to be with you though her love of human company does mean she finds it difficult being away from people, however through patience and consistency, she does have the ability to settle on her own for short periods. This is still a work in progress so once she goes home, her new owner will need to be fully committed to start from the beginning and very gradually build up her leaving time at a pace she is comfortable with. Bella is playful and loves to go for her walks though she can get mouthy and grab at her lead through her excitement in the beginning. She is generally friendly with other dogs though they do not always appreciate her playstyle so any interactions she has will need to be monitored. Once she has had her fun for the day, she likes getting comfy in a cosy bed or will sprawl herself across your lap for a snooze.

Bentley, a 4 years old male French Bulldog available for adoption from Wallace Kennels in Essex

Wallace Kennels

Bentley

Essex

French Bulldog, 4 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and he was a proper little shit so needs an owner used to this type of dog.Write up UPDATED:This boy has come along so much from the badly behaved dog that arrived with us back in September 2025. Don't get me wrong he can still be a little shit but he seems to be our little shit now and has accepted the staff and most of the volunteers as his people.Bentley is seeking a very experienced handler who will not take any of his nonsense. He has failed in several homes mainly because the advice given wasn't followed. 12 hours in a new home is not what this boy needs, it will take weeks for him to adjust and bond with his new person but once he does he has so much genuine love and affection to give - we see it here daily from him.He goes out on a daily basis with all the different dog walkers - that was an impossible job at the beginning. He now wants fuss and affection and lets you in to his "space". Don't get me wrong he does still have the odd day where he reverts back to demon dog but then he remembers that being good = rewards and good things.Bentley is definitely not for a novice dog owner but if you have had previous experience with dogs that like to get their own way and occasional temper tantrums and are up for a challenge then Bentley may be the dog for you.Personally I would say he would be better off as the only pet in the home as you don't want his bad habits rubbing off and also he could not be homed with another male dog as he is a bit hit and miss with them - seems to prefer the pretty girls He will need a home where he is going to get the love and attention he needs (in time) as well as the right amount of exercise, training and stimulation. He has obviously previously been shut away for hours in a small space which has caused his guarding of his space so maybe not go to a home where he will be left for long periods of time and no crates.Definitely no children under 16 years old, older or none preferred.Cats and other small furries are unknown and untested.A secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must. When Bentley first came in to us:-Bentley has guarding issues with his "space" be it a crate, a kennel, his room basically anywhere that he is shut in or where he feels enclosed. Approaching that space he behaves like a rabid beast on crack but open the door, let him out and you are able to carry on the day as if nothing has happened so for a dog that has found himself stuck in the kennel system it is very hard. There is a very nice dog inside the little monster that we see most mornings. He goes out quite happily with the dog walkers without issue. He loves his toys especially stuffed ones that he can rip apart, the quicker the better. He loves his food and treats and takes them nicely. If you feel you are up for a challenge then this is the ideal dog for you. He will need a home where he is going to get the love and attention he needs as well as the right amount of exercise and stimulation. He has obviously previously been shut away for hours in a small space which has caused this hatred so maybe not go to a home where he will be left for long periods of time.

Bessy often gets the zoomies and loves entertaining herself with a soft toy. She’s also a big fan of durable chews, such as Nylabones, which help keep her happy and occupied.Bessy would benefit from walks in quieter areas with fewer dogs around, as she prefers not to have off-lead dogs running up to her. Hello, we’re Brie and Lumiere! We’re a bonded pair looking for a forever home where we can stay together. We’ve shared our lives with one another and take comfort in each other’s company, so we’re hoping to find a family with enough love for both of us.I’m Brie, the paler one. At 8 years and 1 month old, I’m the older lady of the duo. I’m sweet, gentle, and happiest when I’m getting fusses and cuddles from my favourite people. I love affection and would happily spend my days curled up beside you, enjoying all the attention you can give. And I’m Lumiere, the darker one! At 6 years and 2 months old, I’m a fun-loving, excitable boy who approaches life with enthusiasm. I adore people, love being the centre of attention, and am always ready for a fuss or a cuddle. My happy nature and wiggly bum are guaranteed to make you smile. We’re both typical Frenchies through and through—full of character, affection, and charm. We love being involved in whatever our people are doing, enjoy plenty of attention, and aren’t afraid to make our opinions known when we think it’s important! The kennel team are still getting to know us, so they’ll continue to update our profile as they learn more about us. So far, they’ve found us to be a lovely pair who enjoy human company and plenty of affection. We have both lived with children of all ages before and could happily live in a family home. We may also be able to share our home with another dog, pending successful meet-and-greets and slow introductions. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to live with cats—we find them far too exciting and enjoy barking at them a little too much!If you’re looking for twice the love, twice the companionship, twice the Frenchie charm, and twice the wiggly bums, we could be the perfect pair for you. All we ask is that we can stay together and be part of a family who will love us as much as we love each other.Could you be the forever family we’ve been waiting for?P.S. We come as a package deal—after all, life’s much better when you’ve got your best friend by your side! Our adoption fee is: £500.
