However, when given time and the freedom to approach people and situations at her own pace, she soon begins to gain confidence. She particularly enjoys exploring familiar places with the reassurance of her trusted family by her side. Meeting other dogs can be worrying for Lola, and she may react when she feels uncomfortable. Lola cannot live with other dogs, cats or small furries, but she could share her home with children of secondary school age who understand the importance of respecting her boundaries.
