Are you right for Dennis?Meet Dennis! Dennis is a cracking little character with a big personality and a love for fun! His favourite thing is chasing squeaky toys and a good game of tug of war! He came into us through no fault of his own and previously lived in a home where he was good to be left for 3-4 hours, however we would advise building this up gradually in a new home whilst he settles in, he may also need some support with housetraining. He travels well in the car and is happy to snooze on longer journeys. Dennis is looking for an adult only home. He would also like to be the only dog in the home, but would love to continue to socialize on walks. Dennis can be a sensitive boy when it comes to handling around his face and neck due to his ongoing medical condition but our behaviour team would be more than happy to go through his care plan for his treatment. New adopters must be able to attend the centre for multiple meets to get to know Dennis before taking him home and to work with our behaviour team to help Dennis with his training going into a new home. Dennis will need to wear a muzzle for invasive vet visits around his eyes as he has been uncomfortable previously, but despite his condition it doesn't get him down and he has a real zest for life. He is a truly special boy with so much love to give, and he'll make a wonderful addition to the family. Is Dennis right for you?Dennis does have some ongoing medical needs which is currently being managed with medication. Our rehoming team would be happy to discuss his needs with any potential adopters.

Frank arrived from his owner due to a relationship breakdown.Frank is an independent wee soul and doesn’t like being grabbed or groomed, Frank required muzzling at the vets. He finds children too much and needs an adult only home. He enjoys a walk and walks fairly well on lead, his recall requires work. He’s a busy wee guy and needs mental stimulation and play, he does have the old luxating patella skip but it does not impact his mobility.Frank is not dependable around other dogs, so should be a solo dog and has never met a cat.Anyone interested in adopting Frank will likely have to visit a number of times to build trust.
