Buddy: The Sensitive Brindle Gentleman Buddy is a nearly five-year-old brindle stunner who has been with us at Harvel for three months. He’s one of those dogs who immediately draws attention — tall, handsome, beautifully marked — yet somehow he’s still waiting for his forever home. He’s become affectionately known as “always the groomsman, never the groom”, but we’re determined to change that. Buddy is a sensitive, thoughtful lad who is still finding his feet in the big wide world. New walking locations can feel overwhelming for him, and he may pause or turn back when something feels too much. With reassurance and a calm handler, he continues without freezing, and with repeated exposure he becomes noticeably more relaxed. On the lead he can be lively and strong when he’s processing lots of new sights and sounds, but he listens well and is happy to follow your guidance.
