About Buddy ​Buddy is a handsome 6-year-old Black Labrador with a massive heart and a real "zest for life." Don't let his age fool you; he has the energy and enthusiasm of a much younger dog! He is currently looking for a new home directly from his current residence. The adoption process is the same as any dog in our care and a new owner will have the back up from Windyway if needed. ​Social Butterfly: He is extremely friendly and greets everyone with a warm welcome. ​Active & Bright: He loves his walks and has excellent recall off-lead, especially if you’re carrying his favourite treats. ​Family History: Buddy has grown up around children and loves being part of the fun. Because he is a bouncy, strong boy, he’d be best suited to a home with children who are comfortable with his "Labrador energy." ​Health & Peace of Mind ​Buddy was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy last summer. This is now well-controlled with medication, and he is otherwise a very healthy, happy dog. ...
