Breed: Presa CanarioAge: 1 Year 6 Months ApproxButtercup is a lovely Presa Canario who came to us after she was found as a stray and ended up with a dog warden… unfortunately she wasn’t claimed and her time at the pound was up… there was a plea on social media desperate for a rescue space. We thankfully had a space available, and she came to us the next day!She’s a lovely girl, but clearly hasn’t had any training. She’s strong to walk, and seems not to know any of the basic commands. We have started some basic training with her and she is responding well… she’s very ‘foody’ so that helps! She absolutely loves her walks, and particularly enjoys her time off lead in our exercise compounds playing with her tough toys!Unfortunately Buttercup has a strong desire to chase small animals, so she will require a home with no small pets/birds. It’s also advisable that care is taken in the garden/on walks. She is very interested in other dogs, and whilst she dog tested fine at the stray kennels, w...
