Meet Calebgorgeous big boy who has been stuck in kennels with no interest for 10 monthsHis story is sad and one we have shared before. 3 years ago we were asked to take him in by another rescue when his owner had lost everything and was unable to keep him.He was adopted with another one of our dogs, his friend from his foster home, and then sadly both were returned only a few weeks later.One day, whilst he was in our care - Caleb’s first owner came back to us saying he was back on his feet and really wanted his dog back ...so Caleb happily went home with his previous owner. We thought this was such a happy ending for both Caleb and his dad.At the start of the year we were contacted by a vet in Wales asking for our consent to have him put to sleep. They had checked his chip when his owner had taken him in and realised we were on the chip as a secondary contact and that Caleb had rescue back up.Of course we didn't allow that to happen and said we would take him back.
