Charley

Everyone meet Charley, a beautiful older Shepherd, estimated to be around 6–7 years old. ️ Life hasn’t always been kind to Charley. When she first arrived with us, she was incredibly frightened. We couldn’t touch her or handle her, and she was underweight and completely unsure of what we wanted from her. But over the last few weeks, we’ve watched something really special happen… Charley has started to blossom. We can now get her on a lead, and she’s beginning to enjoy gentle, sniffy walks. We’re taking everything at her own pace and haven’t pushed her into busy roads or overwhelming environments yet. And that’s exactly what Charley needs from her forever home — time, patience and understanding.
