This is Charlie. We’ve been taking the time to assess him, so we could be certain on the type of home he requires. Charlie is a Cocker spaniel (possibly crossed with a springer), he is 7 years old. Charlie is looking for an experienced handler, ideally someone who understands the breed/s. Spaniels are working dogs and most need an outlet to keep them happy in life - Charlie is no exception. Charlie is toy/ food motivated and is a very quick learner. He really enjoys activities that get his brain working - he would not be happy with just a walk round the block. Charlie will need structure in the house - no sleeping on the sofa or on human beds. He has had negative experiences in his first home which means he becomes worried when people come close to his face (A child use to hold him by his ears so she could kiss him). We would recommend crating him at night. Here at the kennels, he is truly a lovely dog. We don’t pressure him or overwhelm him with affection/ fusses (don’t get me wrong, ...
