As much as we would have loved to find them a home together, we were struggling to secure the right placement for two elderly dogs. We decided to trial a short separation, moving Charlie into another kennel for the day — and we were so pleased to see that both boys settled well on their own.Oscar has since found a wonderful, loving home and we agreed that if Charlie showed any signs of distress, Oscar would return.
