Charlie

Charlie is a really sweet and sociable boy who enjoys being around people and receiving affection as long as it is on his terms. He was brought into the Centre after his owner sadly passed away and he is currently going through the stages of grief as well as being in an unfamiliar environment, so we would love to find him a new suitable home as soon as we can. He can become intimidated if hands are placed over his head, so he needs to be approached in a calm manner and avoid reaching down over his head and neck areas. Charlie is therefore looking for an adult-only, quiet and calm home with experienced owners. His new family will need to be patient, with an understanding that progress may take time. A busy family environment would likely be overwhelming for him, and frequent visitors or lots of unfamiliar people coming and going could be a source of stress for him.
