Cookie

Cookie is a handsome little boy who enjoys exploring, having a good sniff around and spending time with the people he knows and trusts. He is affectionate with his family and is looking for a calm new home with someone who can give him the time and patience he needs to settle. Cookie currently lives with another dachshund, but their relationship has become increasingly difficult and he is now looking for a home where he can be the only pet. Cookie can be worried by unfamiliar people and dogs, particularly when they come into his space or approach him too closely. He is much more comfortable when given time and space and will need a family who are happy to let him build trust at his own pace. He can also be uncomfortable with handling at times. His new family should be comfortable using a muzzle if needed. We will provide behaviourist support to help Cookie settle successfully into his new home.
