She was found living on the streets of Romania and taken to a kill shelter before the team at Islay stepped in to give her a second chance and help her find the loving forever home she deserves.When Dakota first arrived at Islay, she was extremely frightened and would freeze whenever anyone approached her. Thanks to the kindness, patience, and understanding of staff and volunteers, she has made incredible progress in a short period of time. She now allows a harness and lead to be fitted, walks beautifully on a loose lead, and enjoys exploring on walks—especially when accompanied by another dog.Dakota continues to grow in confidence every day.
