Introducing our gorgeous boy Dave , who has been with us for a while now. Unfortunately Dave arrived with us in a sad state, he had torn ligaments in his leg and was unable to walk properly . The team kicked into action and it was decided that he needed major surgery to fix this as a leg amputation will have put too much pressure on his other joints .Thanks to your fundraising Dave has been able to have his operation! When he arrived at the vets they also realised that he had an old fracture in the same leg that had healed itself. We are devastated that Dave had to go through this and be in pain but luckily he is in good hands and is now on his road to recovery.Dave is such a loving boy, he has proper puppy dog eyes and will stare into your sole until you give him some belly scratches. He absolutely loves his stuffed toys (especially his lion teddy) and will carry them around proudly!
