Lily is a beautiful 5 year old German Shepherd x Doberman with so much love to give. She’s currently in foster in Swindon and has been making fantastic progress while she waits for her perfect match.
Lily came into foster after spending much of her early life at home, which means she’s still catching up on some social experiences, but the transformation in just two months has been incredible. She’s an intelligent, eager to please girl who is responding brilliantly to training and clearly enjoys learning.
Out and About Lily is working hard on her lead skills using a head collar and slip lead, and she improves every day. She can be enthusiastic at the start of walks (she loves getting out and about!) but settles nicely once she’s had a chance to burn off that initial excitement.
She absolutely loves playing fetch on a long line and has excellent recall — she recently enjoyed time in a secure dog field where she walked beautifully off lead, stayed close, and responded immediately when ...
