Dottie is new to Homeless Hounds and has gone straight into a lovely foster home, this is what her foster mummy has to say about her:Dottie is 12 years old and loves people. She is beautifully marked with a shiny coat and we suspect she is crossed with a cocker spaniel. She is a striking looking dog. The previous owners say Dottie was fine with their grandchildren. She was allowed to sit on beds and sofas but this has not been permitted in the foster home as It would be a cause of jealousy between her and the fosterer’s dogs.Dottie was never walked so going on walks now is very exciting for her, but her paws are very soft so walks need to be increased gradually till her pads harden up. When the walk starts she pulls on the lead but soon settles down once she starts to use her nose and sniff things. For a dog that hasn’t been walked much recently, she isn’t nervous of being outside and likes to explore. She was reported as being afraid of fireworks but this may be a thing of the past be...
