She can be hand shy and conflicted around handling, so she would be best suited to a home with children aged 14 years and over who can give her space and time to feel comfortable. Duchess enjoys food-based enrichment and treats, which will be a great help with training, confidence building, and bonding. She also loves to play fetch and has the occasional burst of zoomies! Duchess has not yet been assessed with other dogs, so she will need to be the only pet in her new home. She will require support with all the basics, including housetraining, and any time left alone will need to be gradually built up. Confidence building will be key for her, and having access to a secure garden will help her explore and feel safe as she finds her feet.
