Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire Edie is a beautiful 5-year-old Cavalier who came into rescue from a breeding background. Since arriving in foster care, she has been gently learning what life as a much-loved companion dog can be. With the support of the resident dogs in her foster home, Edie has made lovely progress. She has gained confidence, quickly learnt the household routine and is beginning to enjoy walks and affection on her own terms. Edie is still naturally shy around people she does not know and needs a home that will allow her to build relationships at her own pace. She is not a dog who wants people rushing up to her or expecting instant affection. Once she feels safe, however, her sweet and affectionate personality begins to appear. She has become something of a foodie since having her dental treatment.
