Frank is a loving and affectionate little boy who is struggling to adapt to a busy household since an IVDD episode last year. His owners feel he will be happier in a quieter home with a family who has the time to help him adjust to being a bit wobbly on his back feet and who have an easy-to-access garden where he can have a nice sniff and explore. Frank is a sociable dog who loves attention and cuddles. He is very happy lazing on the sofa with his special person, he loves to sunbathe and he also enjoys burrowing under any comfy blanket that comes his way. He will welcome people to the house with a typical dachshund bark, but will quickly settle. He currently lives with a young child, but would almost certainly prefer a quieter home without young children. He has occasionally been possessive with high-value treats and chew toys so access to these should be carefully managed.
