Gabriel

Gabriel originally came to us from a breeder, and for him the world felt like a very frightening place. He was worried of people, the new environments, and unfamiliar experiences left him feeling overwhelmed, and even something as simple as having a lead put on was a huge challenge. He needed time, patience, and gentle encouragement to begin to feel safe.Gabriel was adopted for a short period, but unfortunately it was not the right fit for him, and he was returned after displaying unpredictable behaviour in the home and unfortunately turning on his adopters when he felt uncomfortable in a situation. He showed reactive mouthing around his food and personal space, which occasionally resulted in snapping towards his adopters. Because of this, it is vital that Gabriel’s future home fully understands his past and is able to meet his very specific needs.
