Gemma

Gemma is a super sweet lady who has come into our care from a breeder alongside her sister, Bee. Gemma is feeling quite overwhelmed to find herself here and can be quite shy at the moment, but she is trying so hard to be brave. She is nervous, but she can be handled when you move slowly and carefully so that you don't spook her. With plenty of love, patience and TLC, we think she has the potential to really blossom once she is in a home environment. Gemma has lived with dogs all her life with her breeder and gets on wonderfully with her kennel friends. She relies on their company for comfort, so she will need a kind, confident resident dog in her new home to show her the ropes, act as a role model and give her the reassurance she needs as she settles in and finds her paws. She is still building up her confidence with wearing a harness and learning to walk on a lead, so this will need to be gradually introduced and continued in her new home.
