Grace

Grace is incredibly sweet, affectionate and loves a cuddle, but she's also a sensitive girl who is still learning that the world isn't quite as scary as she first thinks. Thanks to several home visits with one of our wonderful volunteers, we're learning more about Grace every week. She settles well in the car and is always keen to get indoors, where she quickly chooses a safe spot to relax. Once she feels secure, she enjoys playing with a toy, working on a tasty Kong or chew, and even drifts off for a peaceful snooze. Grace has shown us that loud traffic, particularly lorries and machinery, are the things she finds most worrying. When she's unsure, she looks to her people for reassurance and feels happiest when she's allowed to take things at her own pace. With each visit, she's growing in confidence, and it's been lovely to see her becoming more relaxed in a home environment. She's a real foodie too!
