Graff

Graff, a one year old German Shepherd Cross, recently arrived in our care from a rescue in Turkey. Despite starting life on the streets, he is the most gentle boy who loves nothing more than a few treats and a lot of fuss and attention.He is a big lad – all long gangly legs and puppyish clumsiness – but those who have met him describe him as a ‘gentle giant’ or a ‘teddy bear’. Sit down near him, give him a moment, and he’ll pad over for a cuddle – then stay right there, head resting on your lap, until he drifts off to sleep.Graff is still finding his feet with people, especially men, although who could blame him after the start he has had? But every day brings a little more confidence and a little more trust. The wonderful rescue team in Turkey who knew him first say that ‘he loves nature, walks, the sea, and simply enjoying life’.We would love to find Graff a home with another canine companion as he has always had other dogs by his side.
