Having arrived with us as a stray, Hagrid initially found kennel life quite overwhelming. However, with plenty of hot dog sausages, tasty bits of cheese, and gentle encouragement from his handlers, it wasn't long before his trusting nature began to shine through. Now he happily repays his favourite people with plenty of slobbery affection and wonderfully goofy zoomies around our secure paddocks.As Hagrid's confidence continues to grow, he's also making new canine friends. He feels happiest around calm, gentle dogs that are respectful of his space and could potentially live with another well-matched dog, pending successful introductions at the centre.Hagrid is looking for a home with a secure garden. As he can take a little while to settle into new environments, the transition into a new home may feel a little daunting for him. Having a safe outdoor space where he can toilet, explore at his own pace and enjoy plenty of sniffy games will help him build his confidence and feel secure.Hagr...
