Hamish

Hamish is a 1 year old Basset Hound who is a cheeky chap and full of fun! He has plenty of pizzazz and he's looking for a switched on family who can understand him. Hamish has had several homes already, so he's looking for a dedicated family who can continue his basic training, including loose lead walking and working on calm behaviours. He would benefit from someone who is able to build any time that is he left home alone up gradually.

Hamish is a wee social butterfly who loves making new friends, human or hound! This little lad would love to share his home with other dogs, and/or secondary school aged children, who are confident around dogs. He's pretty smart and has got quite a few tricks up his sleeves already - he'll do anything for a tasty treat! Hamish will require multiple meets at the centre before adoption to help set him up for success. This beautiful Basset is going to make such a wonderful addition to the right family.
