Hamish arrived with us as a stray and understandably found the world a little worrying at first. It has taken him some time to build trust with his handlers, but with patience and kindness he has begun to show his true personality. Once he gains a little confidence, his goofy nature comes to life – expect bouncy moments, playful antics and a dog who loves to make his people smile.Because of his sensitive start, Hamish is looking for an adult-only home or a family with older children who can understand that he may need a little time to settle and feel safe. A calm and patient home will help him continue building his confidence at his own pace.Hamish may be able to live with another friendly, like-minded dog who would enjoy – or at least tolerate – his excitable, boxer-style play.
