Meet Hank Hank came into Ferne as a stray and, after spending time in foster care, is now ready to find his forever home. He has been affectionately nicknamed ‘Doofy’ by his carers which is a bit of a reflection of his personality! He is a big bundle of fun who has zero concept of his own size. He’s a big, handsome boy with lots of energy and strength. Hank is very strong on the lead, so he’ll need ongoing training in his new home, especially with lead manners and recall when off lead. He will come with behavioural support while he is still learning. While he can be boisterous and pull towards other dogs when on the lead, he has shown himself to be friendly with some dogs when off lead, any introductions would need to be done carefully. He has been working well with a behaviourist and his fosterer on being able to pass other dogs and ignore them, this will need to be continued.
