Hawk

Hawk is still very new to kennel life and has had little experience outside of racing. He’s easy to get ready for walks and always excited to see you, though he can be a little cautious at first. When out and about, he tends to hang back until he feels sure of his surroundings.Hawk had a trip out this week and, although he needed a bit of help getting into the car, he was happy to jump out by himself. Car travel is still quite new to him, and he didn’t settle much—standing for most of the journey, keeping a close eye on my driving!He walks nicely on the lead and doesn’t pull. Hawk managed steps easily, however he was a little nervous around traffic and larger vehicles. We met several other dogs on our walk, and Hawk was very keen to play—giving a few excited squeaks! He probably hasn’t met many dogs before but showed friendly, enthusiastic curiosity throughout.Hawk still needs to build his confidence but with a few more trips to the park and coffee shops he will make a great walking bu...
