Description

This handsome boy is estimated to be only 2 years old. He arrived to us via a local authority as part of a welfare case.

Heathcliff, as we have named him, is a typical bouncy boy. He enjoys his walks and is absorbing all the environments he is being exposed to. He could potentially share a home alongside a neutered female dog of similar size and energy levels.

On assessment, some guarding and possessive behaviours where shown especially around toys, but never having them before who can blame him. Heathcliff will require training in all aspects and some boundaries in place to help him understand what is appropriate. When over stimulated he will try to ‘hump’ his handler and being a bigger boy an adult only home would be preferred. He was a good boy when he saw our vet and will be neutered very soon. Heathcliff will also be having entropion surgery on his lower eyelids as they are turning inward and causing irritation.
