Are you right for Hugo? Hugo is a lovely boy looking for a family who enjoy a playful dog. Adopters familiar with Shar Peis would be ideal, and he could live with teenagers. He has mixed nicely with other dogs and could share his home with a suitable canine companion. Hugo loves his toys, so his family will need to respect his space when he has them and use swaps rather than taking things from his mouth. He will need continued lead training, recall practice and gradually building up time alone. He is housetrained, although he may need a little refresher when he gets home. Hugo has recently had facial surgery, which our veterinary team will discuss with you. His photos were taken just after his op, so please excuse him while he gets back to his usual handsome self!
