Hugo

This is big boy Hugo! He came to us with his siblings from an unlicensed breeder who did not care for them as well as they should have. Hugo is very outgoing and will need an active home to keep his energy levels managed. He is very bouncy and playful when he gets to know you and is a really fun dog to have as your new best friend.He can be a nervous dog, especially with strangers, so will each need a home that can give him the time and space to open up, and an owner that will engage in training exercises to build up his confidence in different situations. He has a degree of reactivity towards other dogs when meeting them, so needs someone who can manage his size and strength when out on a walk. He needs clear rules and boundaries so that he doesn’t think he is the boss.He will need an owner who is physically capable of managing large dogs and preferably have had similar large guarding breeds in the past, as previous experience with these types of breeds will be beneficial for him.
